Hi, I’m Annachiara
Picco!

FWO Ph.D. fellow, KU Leuven

I was born in Valdagno, a small mountain town in the beautiful region of Venice in Italy. I studied at the University of Padova, where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Astronomy & Astrophysics at KU Leuven, Belgium. My research focuses on the stellar progenitors of gravitational-wave sources, massive stars and their evolution in binaries, through theoretical modeling and numerical simulations.
